Graded Assertiveness: What’s the Best Approach?
Sometimes, to get something done, or to get someone to stop doing something, you need to use Graded Assertiveness.
A lot of people have heard of Graded Assertiveness, but I’ve found that surprisingly few have a reliable, structured approach to delivering it. In this video, I compare two models (PACE vs CUSS) and give my thoughts on what works best in the real world.

A path to highly effective communication skills
Hayden is an emergency physician at University Hospital Geelong and a senior lecturer at Deakin University, Geelong. He is somewhat obsessed with the science and art of effective communication, and in particular: difficult conversations.
